Hasitall Has Her First Win
Three-year-old trotting filly Jayport Hasitall (Striking Sahbra - Promus) made her sophomore debut last night at Western Fair, and did it in style. In rein to Brad Forward, Hasitall was an easy winner in 2:03.1 for owner-trainer Dan Creighton. Creighton purchased Hasitall from Jayport Farms for $11,000 as a yearling in 2006.

Jayport Trotters Enjoy Great Night at Flamboro
On Friday, February 29, two Jayport trotters found their way to the winner's circle. In Race 2, Jayportcashforlife (Dream Vacation - Kash Echo) and trainer-driver Brent Belore converted a pocket trip into a win with a passing-lane 2:02.1 score. Six races later in Race 8, Jayport Express crushed a field of claiming trotters by 12 lengths, hitting the wire in 2:02.3 for his 25th lifetime win.

After 128 starts, 24 wins and over $300,000 in earnings, Jayport Express (Yentls Image - Promus) went out a winner after being plucked from a claiming event at Flamboro Downs.

Jayport Sweetheart Named Female Trotter of the Year at Grand River
After a campaign with four wins - all in 2:00 or faster - and two thirds in ten starts over the Elora, Ont. half-miler, Jayport Farms' trotting mare Jayport Sweetheart (Balanced Image-Jayport Ellie May) was named Grand River Raceway's Trotter of the Year for fillies and mares.

Another Hard-Fought Win for Forever
After being parked for the majority of the mile, Jayport Forever (Balanced Image - Jayport Ellie May) still managed to score her fourth win in seven starts this year with a half-length 2:02.1 win at Woodstock Raceway on Saturday afternoon.
Trainer Brent Belore guided Forever to the win, prepping her for the October 3 Grassroots event at Flamboro Downs.

In 2006, Susies Magic (Dream Vacation - Kash Echo) finished second in her Breeders Crown elim before erupting for an upset in the lucrative final. Can she repeat? We'll find out on September 1st.

Forever Impressive in OSS Debut
There was just too much real estate to make up. Back more than 11 lengths at the three-quarter pole, Jayport Forever trotted home in :29.3 to close to a diminishing length of the race winner in her OSS Grassroots test at Georgian Downs on Tuesday.

Jayportcashforlife picked a great day to post her first seasonal victory, going gate-to-wire tonight at Mohawk Racetrack and winning in 1:57.4 - a new lifetime mark for the three-year-old Dream Vacation - Kash Echo filly.

Forever Impressive in Maiden-Breaking Effort
On Saturday, Jayport Forever (Balanced Image - Jayport Ellie May) won in a seven-plus length romp at her home turf of Woodstock Raceway, tripping the timer in 2:04.3
Trainer Brent Belore was in the bike for the victory with Forever, the full-sister to the ultra-consistent Jayport Sweetheart, for owner Tom Porchak.

One breeder sells two yearling trotters last year. Both fillies draw into the same race for their first lifetime start, side by side, each off of two qualifiers.

Back in the $8,500 trotting class she's dominated lately, Jayport Sweetheart won for the fourth time in her last six starts at Grand River Raceway on Tuesday night. With a well-timed three-wide move by driver Phil Belore at the three-quarter mark, Sweetheart hit the wire in 2:00.

Granny Gui Captures Del Miller Elim
Granny Gui, the Dream Vacation half-sister to Jayport broodmare Prato Princess, scored a gutsy 1:54.1 win in her $25,000 elim of the Del Miller Memorial Stake on Friday night at the Meadowlands.
Tim Tetrick drove Granny Gui to a new lifetime best for trainer Sam Fava and owners Sophia Stable Inc. of MT Kisco, N.Y.

Sweetheart Sweet Again!
She may have been an also eligible, but after drawing into Tuesday night's trot at Grand River Raceway Jayport Sweetheart was tons the best in a 1:59.3 six-length win.
Phil Belore was in the bike for the win with Jayport Sweetheart (Balanced Image - Jayport Ellie May) giving her three wins in her last four starts. In the one she didn't win, she was still impressive: spotted the field some 20 lengths at the quarter before finishing 8 lengths back of the winner.
Sweetheart moves up to the $10,000 trotting class at Grand River on Monday.

Back-to-Back Wins for Sweetheart at Grand River
After facing some very tough competition in the Flemingtons Jane Trotting Series, Jayport Sweetheart received a bit of class relief at Grand River Raceway.
With Phil Belore at the lines, Sweetheart was a winner in the $8,500 conditioned level for the second straight week, tripping the teletimer in 1:59.3. The time of the mile also gives Sweetheart back-to-back sub-2:00 wins, after winning in 1:59.1 the week before.

Jayportcashforlife (Dream Vacation - Kash Echo) logged an impressive qualifying mile at Mohawk Racetrack on Friday, finishing her mile in 1:59.4 - after an opening panel that rivaled the sophomore pacers!
Short-term plans for "Cash" include the first OSS Trillium and the Flamboro Breeders Stake.

Two-Year-Old in Training Report: Jayportinthemoney
Trainer Chris Beaver recently updated Jayport Farms on the progress of two-year-old Angus Hall - Kash Echo trotter, Jayportinthemoney.
"Money has been trained in 2:27 with a last quarter in 33 seconds. This is as much as any of my two-year-olds. She is a big strong filly, and is easily handling the work thus far."

Sweet Gate-to-Wire Win
In tonight's $10,000 Fillies and Mares Trot, Jayport Sweetheart and trainer/driver Brent Belore scored a two-length victory in 2:00.4. It was the third win in seven starts this year for the five-year-old daughter of Balanced Image, who is bred and owned by Thomas Porchak of Woodstock, Ont.

Susies Magic is Back!
Susies Magic, who pulled off a stunning upset at Woodbine Racetrack last fall in the Breeders Crown for three-year-old trotting fillies, returned to the Mega City on Saturday evening and came away with a career-best clocking of 1:54.3.
The four-year-old daughter of Dream Vacation – Kash Echo (owned by Jayport Farms) tucked into fourth at the quarter pole for driver Mario Baillargeon, who put the Tony O'Sullivan-trainee into gear as the field entered the backstretch. Susies Magic managed to clear just past the mid-way point of :57.2, and from there she laid down a 1:26.1 three-quarter fraction before kicking home in :28.2 for the 1:54.3 triumph over Sensual Hall (Randy Waples) and Glide Patern (Rick Zeron).
L And L Devisser LLC of Holland, MI and William Jones of Lexington, KY share ownership on the career winner of $473,967, who is gearing up to take on some of the sport's brightest female trotting stars in the upcoming Classic Series.

Abbey Road C Perfect in Preferred
The wins keep coming and the cash keeps flowing for O.S.S. graduate Abbey Road C, who equaled North America's fastest mile of the season for a trotter when he froze the teletimer in 1:53.2 in Monday's Preferred Trot at Woodbine Racetrack.
In rein to trainer/driver Keith Jones, the eight-year-old son of Incredible Abe - Jayport Whimsey marched to immediate command and successfully laid down panels of :26.4, :55.3 and 1:24 en route to notching the 45th win of his career. Speed Bomb (Mario Baillargeon) was 2-3/4 lengths behind the winner and Texas Photo (Randy Waples) rounded out the top three in the $36,000 contest.
His seasonal bankroll climbed to $63,550 and his overall total stands at $1,546,980.
