What A Sweetheart The December 23rd program at Western Fair again showcased the talent of hard-working four-year-old trotting mare Jayport Sweetheart and the horsemanship of Brent Belore.
The Balanced Image-Jayport Ellie May homebred of Thomas Porchak of Woodstock, Ont., racked up her second win in three days at Western Fair in the $9,600 purse conditioned event.
In addition she had a runner-up finish on December 15 in the same class to cap an eight-day span during which she raked in $12,000 in purses. With the December 23rd win she graduated from the non-winners of $56,250 lifetime category she'd been dominating.
